Editing exchange rates manually

When you are offline (e.g., traveling abroad), you can enter the current exchange rate manually.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Currencies.
2. Find the currency pair you want to update.
3. Tap the rate field and enter the current rate.
4. Tap Save.

When to use this

• You are on a flight or in a location without internet.
• You want to lock in the rate you actually paid at a currency exchange desk.
• You are recording past transactions at historical rates.

Effect on existing transactions

Manually editing rates only affects future transactions and any new ones you create after the change. Existing transactions keep the rate that was saved with them.
