I owe a friend — Track repayments

When a friend lends you money, record it so Rasmerk shows you exactly what you owe and tracks each repayment.

Steps

1. Go to Friends in the bottom navigation.
2. Tap the friend's name (or add a new friend).
3. Tap + Add IOU / Loan.
4. Choose direction: I owe them.
5. Enter the amount, date, and optional due date.
6. Tap Save.

Recording a repayment

1. Open the loan from the Friends screen.
2. Tap Add Repayment.
3. Enter the repayment amount, date, and account used.
4. Tap Save.

Rasmerk updates the outstanding balance automatically.

Immutability rule

Once the first repayment is recorded, the original loan amount and direction cannot be changed. Only the title, note, and due date remain editable.
