Split a restaurant bill

Use the Bill Split wizard to divide a restaurant or any shared expense between friends.

Steps

1. Scan the receipt or enter the total amount.
2. Tap Split Bill.
3. Add each person (friends from your list or new names).
4. Assign items or amounts to each person.
5. Rasmerk calculates what each person owes you.
6. Confirm — each amount is saved as an IOU against the relevant friend.

Split methods

• Equal split — total divided equally among all members.
• Custom amounts — assign different amounts to each person.
• Item-based — assign specific receipt items to specific people.

After splitting

Each friend's balance in Rasmerk is updated with their share. Collect payment and record repayments as they pay you back.
